Tim Shmee’s growing fortune is always causing interest in his fans, as they’re not content at seeing only his car collection, but also want to know more about his lifestyle, properties and any other juicy details about his finances.

So what are the secrets of Tim Shmee’s lavish lifestyle, and how did he become so successful? Keep with us to learn more about him!

According to online reports, Tim Shmee has an estimated net worth of over $20 million. resulting from his career as a luxury car online content creator, and the sponsorships he’s gained through it. It’s also worth noting that Tim had already built some businesses, and had a successful career in tech before rising to fame on YouTube, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that Tim’s net worth is so massive.

Not only is his content made around luxury cars, which are famously mostly unaffordable by the common folk, but also his lifestyle is seen to be somewhat above average in the videos he shares. Besides showing his audience many sports and other expensive cars around the world, Tim also collects them as part of his The Shmuseum channel. On top of that, Tim is known to collect rare and expensive watches, showing his collection on his channel Shwatch150.

Given Tim’s success and the top lifestyle he’s built so far, the question of how he got to where he is, is brought up more often than not by his followers. Tim addressed this topic in the 2016 video “How Do You Get a Supercar? [Fuel For Thought]”, in which he advised his audience about it not being a safe or unique way to acquire one’s dream car, but that it was important to save money, be responsible with spending habits, and work towards fulfilling goals.

Tim Shmee owns a very formidable sports car collection that he isn’t shy about showing in his videos. He’s been building this collection since the beginning of his YouTube channel, purchasing and selling some of them throughout the years as he pleased, but always maintaining ta very high standard.

The first car Tim ever owned was an $8,000-priced Renault Clio 1.2 that he bought when 17 years old and as he told The Telegraph in 2016, he never forgot about it because it was also the first car he ever drove for trips. Nonetheless, his passion for things automotive preceded that car by a far way, as his grandfather awakened it back when he took him for trips in his childhood, while driving a Noble M12 GTO.

It was the love for cars that encouraged Tim to film two supercars at a “Top Gear” event, to start his YouTube career as a sports car fan-turned-specialist. As his fame grew, so did his financial means to purchase some expensive cars by himself, at first.buying some gems such as a Ferrari FF, McLaren 675LT, and Porsche Cayman GT4. One thing that characterized his owned cars back then was the personalized blue color he had them painted, though he later expanded his collection by extending his taste to other colors and models.

In early 2025, Tim Shmee shared a video of his collection as a celebration of his 15 years on YouTube. In the video, Tim proudly talks about The Shmeemobiles, which is the name he has given his collection, and which is stored at The Shmuseum in the English countryside, as he’s revealed several times.

At the time Tim made that 15th-anniversary video, he’d just recently purchased a rare BMW M2, becoming the 74th car he’d ever bought, and the 23rd in his current collection. Nonetheless, there were many other memorable cars before that one arrived in his barn-turned-garage, such as his dark-blue Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, a burnt-orange Ferrari SF90 Stradale, and night-blue colored Ferrari Purosangue.

One of the most memorable cars he has at The Shmuseum is a dark purple McLaren 675LT Spider, which he describes as ‘the best modern car McLaren has made’. There’s also the Zenvo TSR-S, which Tim describes as ‘the craziest of them all’ for being a hypercar.

Last but not least there’s the Renault Clio V6, his first car that he sold several years ago before repurchasing it to remember the good old times he spent while driving it on road trips. The car has a huge emotional significance for Tim, thus he’s not worried about the fact that the car needs many fixings to be on the road, as he just wanted it in his collection for the memories.

While Tim’s The Shmuseum famously stores his car collection, that is not the only fascinating thing that the place exhibits. As loyal fans of Shmee150 know, Tim is a big fan of Swatch watches, and even launchd a secondary channel called Shwatch150, to show his collection to the world.

While Tim’s incredible cars and the enthralling Swatches he owns are reason enough to admire how much effort Tim puts into collecting the things he’s passionate about, it’s worth noting that that’s not the only thing he’s been doing right. Another amazing fact about Tim is The Shmuseum, which he built after two long years of carefully trying to find the perfect location which would have enough space and silence to comfortably film his videos.

He eventually found that place on a farm outside of London, but the work wasn’t done yet. The 1,000sqft location was completely remodeled, with several features including a floor that replicates a real race track, a great detail for a collection as impressive as his.

All in all, Tim Burton, a.k.a Shmee is very dedicated to his passion and that’s the over-riding reason he’s found so much success at it.
