De chirurgen in het <a rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aarp.org\/caregiving\/stories\/info-2020\/jeannie-gaffigan-brain-tumor.html\" target=\"_blank\">Mount Sinai Hospital<\/a> in Manhattan verwijderden de tumor tijdens een negen uur durende operatie, waardoor haar linker stemband verlamd raakte.
