Hun album \u201cFrom Under the Cork Tree\u201d werd uitgebracht op 3 mei 2005 en klom naar de 9e plaats in de Billboard 200, en is sindsdien dubbel platina geworden. Hij bracht het grootste deel van 2010 en 2011 door met optreden in de VS, totdat hij begin 2012 aankondigde dat hij een pauze nodig had en tijdelijk zou stoppen met optreden. Hij was afwezig van muziek tot 4 februari 2013, toen Fall Out Boy weer bij elkaar kwam, en twee maanden later, op 12 april, brachten de jongens hun nieuwe album \u201cSave Rock and Roll\u201d uit.<\/p>\n<p>Het nieuwe album bereikte de eerste plaats in de Billboard 200 Chart, en de groep ging opnieuw op tournee door de VS tot 2014.
