Jean Deaux, a musical artist based in Chicago, also accused Ian of the same offence, stating that she first met him on Instagram, and after exchanging a few direct messages, they shared their contact information and eventually met briefly in Chicago during a concert. According to her, they made plans to meet again for shopping a week later – she wanted him to meet her in the SoHo neighborhood in New York.

However, Ian failed to show up, and as she was preparing to go back to Chicago, she received a ‘phone call from him. He sounded distressed, and told her that he’d been beaten up and shot by A$AP Mob members, and asked her to meet him in Manhattan, where they would spend some time before they went shopping. When Deaux met him, she followed him to what looked like a motel, and according to her report, this is where she was raped. However, Ian denied Deaux’s allegations through a tweet, and despite all these allegations, he hasn’t been arrested or charged with rape.
