The YouTube channel Biker Stuff is known for many reasons. Star Dana Garis’s bike-building skills are one of those reasons, though her loyal audience can list her personality and physical charms as other reasons they choose to watch her videos all the time.

What many people don’t know is that Dana used to be a model, but she eventually found it more profitable to turn her motor-cycling passion into video content. That hasn’t made YouTube quite happy, as her content has been deemed too sexually appealing for the platform, cutting off the growth of her channel.

So who is Dana Garis, and how much has her life changed since starting on YouTube? Why did she stop posting videos ,and what other platforms can her followers find her on? Keep with us to find out!

What Is Biker Stuff?

Biker Stuff is a YouTube channel started in 2018 by Dana Garis, a former model and motorcycle builder. Her passion for bikes led her to share videos on the platform, though she didn’t start right way with building videos, and was instead focused on sharing bits about her lifestyle. Unfortunately, the growth of her channel didn’t come with lots of information about her past as a model, but that didn’t make her content any less interesting for her audience.

Videos such as “5 things you need to know about motorcycle maintenance” and “Leather motorcycle jacket or textile” gave a start to the channel, though it also helped that Dana’s approach to her craft goes easy on the eyes of her audience. Her personality and choice of revealing clothing played a role in the growth of her channel, eventually becoming a fan favorite among adult males who love seeing ladies work on motorcycles, however clad!

Beginnings On YouTube

The first video that Dana shared on Biker Stuff was “Washing My Motorcycle”, posted in August 2019. The video is as simple as its title, as it shows Dana washing her motorcycle on a Sunday morning, while giving a tip or two about the process. However, that simplicity turned out to be exactly what her audience was looking for, which is demonstrated by the over 600,000 views that the video achieved.

Dana steadily, gained an audience among people who wanted to learn about bikes, and those who simply enjoyed watching her talk about her motorcycle passion. While it’s unclear what exactly motivated her to start her channel, Dana revealed in a question and answer session that she’s been riding bikes since she was 16 years old.

Back then, the young Dana used bikes to transport herself to and back from college, but that evolved into a lifetime passion. Eventually, she started switching bikes, looking for something more powerful every time. The first bikes she owned were a Honda Cub c70 and a c90, followed by a Yamaha BWS 50 and an Aprilia SR 50, which she describes as ‘vastly more powerful’ compared to the previous Yamaha. Later on, she went back to Honda by purchasing a CBR 125 and a 400rr.

What Are Her Most Famous Videos?

So far, Dana’s most watched video on her main channel Biker Stuff is the one entitled “Testing the Thrunite Catapult Mini”, which is a pocket-size torch used by mechanics. While Dana made a complete unboxing and testing of the product, the comments were more about her physical appearance, and the seemingly current nature of the video.

At some point, one commentator affirmed that the video should be rated for an audience over 18 years old, to which Dana reacted by changing the video’s description to reject the notion that the video was ‘offensive’. The video had over two million views by early 2025.

Dana’s secondary channel – KM90 Restoration – also won the attention of a lot of people, with her most watched video being entitled “Kawasaki KM90, pressing bearings with my new hydraulic press”. The video is a demonstration of a product in her garage, though it also starts with a warning about her not wearing a bra during the filming, and a request to skip the video if found this offensive. The video was shared in June 2022, and by early 2025 had accumulated 3.8 million views, making it her most successful on the platform.

Why Doesn’t She Share Videos Anymore?

Everyone who has been watching Biker Stuff’s videos for a long time, surely remembers that Dana often used to share videos. It was the continuity of her videos as she worked on her bike projects that made her content so entertaining, but that suddenly stopped in April 2022.

Back then, Dana revealed that YouTube marked her videos as inappropriate, because they were perceived as ‘sexually gratifying’ by the platform. That led Dana to request a review of YouTube’s decision, as she thought that the perceived sexual nature of her videos was a misunderstanding caused by ‘cultural differences between countries’. However, the video platform didn’t relent on its decision, marking all of her videos as inappropriate and unfit for monetization, except for those produced for her subscribers, who only made up a very small portion of her audience.

This left Dana no option but to start a second channel called Biker Stuff 2, which was also demonetized. She then started the channel KM90 Restoration, which focused on entirely rebuilding her Kawasaki KM90. According to a further update Dana posted in 2023, once the K90 project had finished, the views went downhill and so did her earnings from YouTube.

That left her with no option but to start a third YouTube channel named Biker Stuff 3, in late 2024. This is the channel on which she shares the most content nowadays.

Besides YouTube, Dana Garis can be found on Instagram and OnlyFans, with the latter serving her to share exclusive adult content for her loyal subscribers.

All in all, Dana is still producing lots of Biker Stuff content, but it’s also clear that the road hasn’t been a smooth one for her.
