It’s an understatement to say that the life of an adventurer is full of exciting and unexpected things, but what’s a faraway dream for many is the everyday reality of the Polish vlogger and YouTuber Eva zu Beck. Since she started sharing his traveling adventures on YouTube, Eva has cemented herself as one of the most influential content creators in the field, and also expanded his horizons to TV, appearing in shows from important networks such as BBC and National Geographic.

The trips that have caught the attention of Eva’s audience hearts the most are only one part of the path she’s had to walk to get where she is now, facing not only the interesting and exciting parts of being a daring traveler, but also the negative and risky side of it.
So, who is Eva zu Beck? Keep with us to learn all about her beginnings, her adventures, her finances, and where her career is heading now.
Net Worth
According to reports, as of mid-2025, Eva zu Beck has an estimated net worth of $1 million, resulting from her successful career as a YouTuber, travel influencer, and TV personality. Although her biggest platform is YouTube, Eva has mastered the art of turning her passion into an income source, by using her social media to not only promote her content, but also to make herself known in the field by engaging in sponsorships, and connecting with big TV networks and travel magazines.
While it’s unclear how much Eva makes from promoting brands and working on TV, some sites report that her 1.8 million subscribers earned her around $3,000 monthly by early 2025. Considering that Eva has been making content for years, and that she also owns an original-designed gear shop, tends to confirm that her fortune is confirmed to be that high.
Beginnings
The story of how Eva zu Beck became a travel vlogger is inspiring, to say the least. In her mid-20s, Eva had a stable life in London, UK, working at a media company called Culture Trip, where she played a very important role in growing it from zero to millions of followers. Several years before that, Eva had already worked at the European Parliament as a communication manager, and was dedicated to learning French and German at the University of Oxford, from which she obtained her language degree in 2013.

However, none of these things were enough for Eva, who admitted she was ‘terribly unhappy’ because her situation was a result of believing she would achieve success through these achievements. It’s also worth noting that Eva was married at the time, and admitted to having fallen into some ‘destructive behaviors’.
Feeling she had fallen to rock bottom, Eva decided to leave everything behind, including her relationship, after long introspection and ‘soul searching’. She realized that her current situation had to change if she wanted to keep herself going in life, as she revealed in a 2021 video.
Much to the incredulity of her family, Eva purchased a camera, taught herself how to edit video, and left London to visit the rest of the world. Her passion for telling stories was a big motivator to start sharing her videos, and visiting as many places as she could.
Rise To Internet Fame & TV
Some of the countries Eva zu Beck first visited once she started sharing YouTube videos were Poland, India, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. The latter left a big impression on Eva, who not only fell in love with the country to the point of giving a TED Talk about it, but also launched a media campaign to promote tourism in the country. On top of that, in 2019 she produced two shorts, entitled ‘Pakistan is Learning’ and ‘Pakistan is Compassionate’.
While Eva gained the title of ‘Pakistan sweetheart’ for the love and appreciation she gained there, she also visited dozens of other countries. Her long stay in Yemen during the pandemic was a learning experience that also gained her the attention of Business Insider, which was one of the first massive platforms that featured her during her early YouTube days.
Eva’s knack for telling stories crossed the limits of YouTube after attracting the attention of TV networks. The first was EuroNews, where she hosted and produced the special show “Meet the Balkans” in 2021. Later on, she hosted and directed the Germany-based Deutsche Welle show “DW Travel”, featuring the beauty of the places around the world that she visited, in a series of mini-episodes.
Controversy
While Eva zu Beck’s trips around the world have been well-received by locals, that hasn’t let her escape controversy. The biggest of those took place in Pakistan, where she filmed herself doing the ‘Kiki Challenge’, based on Drake’s hit song ‘In My Feelings’.
Eva’s videos consisted of her wearing a Pakistani flag while walking down the aisle of a plane. However, the piece of content stirred up controversy in the country as a government organization was deemed disgraceful for going against the country’s traditions. Eva eventually apologized, and continued creating content in the country, though the whole issue was deemed as unnecessary by Western media.
Current & Future Projects
Eva zu Beck is truly one of the most daring YouTube adventurers. Some of the biggest feats she’s achieved during her travel journey include driving from Alaska to Patagonia in the Odyssey, the Land Rover Defender 110 she uses as transport and actually lives in. She’s also a skilled climber, having hiked mountains in Mexico, Antarctica, Poland, and the US. Besides Odyssey, Eva’s German Shepherd named Vilk has been her adventure partner since 2022.
Though having a pet is common for most people, Eva truly considers Vilk not only her best road partner but also the living thing that led her to think her travels more thoroughly and carefully, always keeping in mind that she’s no longer alone on the road.
As well, Eva has hosted several travel shows, including “BBC Travel Show” and National Geographic’s “Best of the World” and “Superskilled”. On top of that, she opened a secondary YouTube channel named Unplugged, in which she gets all the more sincere about her life and feelings.
While it’s unclear how many other places Eva will visit in the future, it’s for sure that she’ll continue making videos and living on her own terms, as we’ve come to love her for.
