Who is Sin Cara?

He’s perhaps best known for the time he spent wrestling in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), while he’s today competing in the Mexican independent circuit, and goes by the ring name Cinta de Oro.
Education and early life
Sin Cara was raised in El Segundo Barrio, El Paso, by his Mexican parents who came to the US not long before he was born; he hasn’t spoken of having siblings, so it’s believed that Sin Cara’s an only child.
He studied at El Paso Burges High School and it was during his second year there that he began wrestling – during his final year in 1996, Sin Cara was the undefeated State Wrestling Champion, and was also voted Most Valuable Player (MVP).
He then studied at a college in Mexico, graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in embalming and funeral director services in 2000.
Career as a professional wrestler
Sin Cara worked for his family’s funeral home in the first half of the decade, while also steadily making a name for himself in wrestling.
He initially wrestled as the masked persona Mistico, but had to change the name because Paco Alonso owned the legal rights to it, thus starting to use ‘Mistico de Juarez’ and ‘Mystico’. Sin Cara began attracting attention on 2 February 2004, when he became the World Wrestling Association (WWA) Middleweight Champion by defeating Nicho El Millonario; he was stripped of the title after only a month, because he was no longer allowed to wrestle in WWA.
