“American Pickers” is arguably one of the most successful History Channel shows from the last two decades. While the show was hosted by Mike Wolfe and the late Frank Fritz, the beautiful and wise Danielle Colby, who ran the business from the office, quickly became a fan-favorite too.
The love that “American Pickers” audiences have for Danielle also translated into an ever-increasing curiosity over her whereabouts, as the TV star is also a burlesque dancer and fashion designer, who is very passionate about her craft. Where Is She Now?
Much to the joy of her fans, Danielle Colby is always up to something, whether that’s dealing with some history-related items or performing her burlesque routine for fans on the internet or a stage somewhere. For a start, Danielle actively creates content for her paid subscribers on platforms such as Patreon and OnlyFans, both of which offer intimate insights into her burlesque routines, exclusive pics and videos, and personal updates.
Danielle’s burlesque art isn’t limited to the internet only though, as she actively performs in private around the US. However, she’s experienced some setbacks in her performing career in recent years, due to several issues such as undergoing a hysterectomy and family health issues which left Danielle no option but to cancel her shows to be with her family.
So Danielle didn’t appear in the 26th season of “American Pickers” which premiered in late 2024, but that doesn’t mean that her relationship with the show’s cast is poor. As she said on Instagram in December of that year, she considers the show’s host Mike Wolfe her ‘awesome brother’, and the pair often work together when it comes to history-related items, as Danielle is also a collector whose project Stripping History maintains alive the memory of sex workers . She also owned a now disappeared fashion shop named 4 Miles 2 Memphis.
All in all, Danielle has definitely gone through some highs and lows these years, but it’s evident that she’s still working hard doing what she’s passionate about.
Health Issues
Danielle Colby has experienced some health issues in recent years, but fortunately, she’s overcome these in the best way possible.
For a start, Danielle went through a hysterectomy to cure her uterine fibroids, which had been putting her through severe pain and irregular and uncontrollable periods. She revealed this information on her Patreon account, where she recalled the story of how she sought help from Mike Wolfe’s girlfriend Leticia Cline, who encouraged Danielle to go to a gynecologist to ascertain the source of her health issues.
After some tests, Danielle was diagnosed with uterine fibroids which needed to be treated right away. The procedure wasn’t simple, as Danielle’s uterus had to be removed entirely, and a biopsy wasn’t possible before surgery due to the fibroids’ size.
Fortunately, Danielle recovered from the procedure and her biopsy didn’t turn show any bad news. However, the whole issue had Danielle feeling ‘unmotivated’ creatively for some time, leading her to skip appearing in several episodes of “American Pickers”’s 24th season. She overcame that upsetting episode with the help of her family and then-fiancé Jeremy Scheuch.
Besides dealing with her fibroids diagnosis, Danielle has also opened up about her struggles with trigeminal neuralgia, a disorder which causes chronic pain in the face.
Marriage
On the bright side, Danielle Colby has recently married her long-time partner Jeremy Scheuch. Just as Danielle revealed in a heartfelt Instagram post shortly after tying the knot in February 2024, she received the strong support of her loved ones during that special day of her life. The ceremony was held in Kansas City, Missouri, but the couple didn’t take long to return to Puerto Rico, where both reside nowadays.
Jeremy’s Instagram says he’s a photographer and a ‘bird and baseball nerd’. Though not much is known about him outside of that, it’s known that Jeremy has been very supportive of Danielle as she has undergone some mental health struggles. Also in an emotional post from November 2024, Danielle revealed that she and Jeremy had known each other for ten years already, and that she ‘loved (him) more each day’.
Past Relationships
Danielle Colby has married three times, counting her most recent marriage to Jeremy Scheuch. Her first husband was a man of whom not much is known except that he’s the father of her son Miles and daughter Memphis.
Danielle admitted in a 2012 interview with WQAD8 that her ex-husband was a ‘nice man, very kind, a loving person and good father’, but her fame got in the way of their marriage. However, it’s unclear when exactly the couple split – her ex-husband’s name is unclear, as some sources state his name is Robert Strong while others say it’s Chad Cushman.
Following that first divorce, Danielle started a relationship with Alexandre De Meyer, a Chicago-based visual artist. According to The Sun, Alexandre and Danielle met in 2011 as they worked together to create her shop ‘4 Miles 2 Memphis’ logo. At some point, the pair tied the knot but their marriage bliss ended in late 2015, when she filed for divorce.
Danielle and her now husband Jeremy began dating in 2015, but didn’t get engaged until 2021.
What Happened To “American Pickers”?
“American Pickers” is still airing on the History Channel, but many things have changed throughout the show’s 26 seasons. Back when it premiered in 2010, Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz co-hosted the show, turning it into an overnight sensation as audiences got hooked on their friendly and funny dynamics, as both men made their way through the most well-hidden pieces of American history. Danielle’s role was that of the office worker who located the items and the hints the pair should follow to make it a good day.
However, these days the show is vastly different. For a start, Frank was left out of the show due to allegations of a feud between him and Mike, leading Danielle and Mike’s brother Robbie to accompany the host on the road.
Though it’s unclear what went down between the pair, Frank was allegedly asked to return to the show in 2023, but couldn’t make it due to severe health issues. Unfortunately, Frank died in October 2024 over complications from a stroke he suffered in late 2022.
It’s unclear whether Danielle will be in the “American Pickers” episodes which are set to premiere in 2025, but there’s no denying that many fans miss the old times with the old cast in it.
