Jemma Warren, also known as ‘Jem Trucker’ on Instagram, is a trucker and social media content creator who’s gained increased popularity since she began posting trucking content in 2013. While her first platform was Instagram, Jemma has grown a considerable following across TikTok and YouTube, and over 300,000 followers combined on all platforms.
Not only is Jemma’s content informative and entertaining, but it’s also varied. Her interest goes beyond her work as an over-the-road driver in the British countryside, as she often takes part in the Bridgwater Carnival as part of the Vagabonds Carnival Club, of which she’s a long-time truck driver. Outside of that, Jemma is also an entrepreneur who owns a small house and garden renovation company alongside her husband, and sometimes shares their projects on YouTube. On top of that, Jem also launched an online shop in which she sells original merchandise such as stickers and t-shirts.

Beginnings
Jemma Warren was born on 1 July 1985 in Bridgwater, Somerset, England. She’s been working as a trucker since 2009, when she got a job collecting milk from farms while driving a tanker, but her story with trucking had started several years before that.
As Jemma opened up in a YouTube video from October 2022, the first time she felt that she belonged at the steering wheel of a heavy-load vehicle was in 1999. Back then, her mechanic father had come up with an inventive way to leave behind the tractors that usually carried the Bridgewater Carnival’s carts by replacing them with a truck, which became customary in the centuries-old event as the specifications and competitiveness in it increased.
Due to her family’s involvement with the carnival and her ever-growing fascination with the event, Jemma realized that she wanted to become the heavy driver, though no one believed that she could do it.
During her teens, Jemma worked as an aerial performer at a local circus, but her newgrowing love for driving led her to save money from her performances to get her Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) license when she was of age. Still, Jemma struggled to get a job, but once a company gave her a chance to collect farm goods in the countryside, she loved the experience and stuck with it.
Journey As A Trucker
Despite loving her first trucking job due to its closeness to nature and the people she met, it became old hat after eight years on the road, so in 2017 Jemma took another job as a driver for a company named Wains Transportation, which is well-known in the UK.
This new job offered Jemma new and exciting opportunities. Though her over-the-road schedule involved a lot of her beloved countryside landscapes, it also provided her with a new and spacious truck. As Jemma affirmed in a 2022 video, these changes vastly improved her trucking experience, given that she hadn’t had her own space in trucks she drove before that, added to the fact that she’d been hired as a relief driver rather than of a regular.
It was with that truck that Jemma produced her earliest YouTube and TikTok content, proudly showing the self-made improvements she to it in her videos. Besides work, she also took her Weins truck on amazing trips throughout the countryside, to trucking events, and even took a trip to the Ukrainian border to bring aid supplements in 2022.
Later in August 2024, Jemma left Weins to join Bradford Transport, and video blogged the entire experience for YouTube.
Family Life
Jemma Warren has been in a relationship with Ryan Cresswell since 2018. Her boyfriend is the father to three teens named Mitchell, Billy, and Enya, to whom Jemma has acted as a stepmother. The couple doesn’t have children in common, nor has Jemma any children from previous relationships.
Besides the time she spends with her boyfriend and their blended family, Jemma is also very close to her sister Jodi. The sisters work together on renovation projects, which Jemma doesn’t shy away from showing in her TikTok videos.
