Who is Luna Blaise?
Luna Blaise was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 1 October 2001 – her zodiac sign is Libra and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress, singer and a model, who’s probably known best for her portrayal of Olive Stone in the science fiction mystery series “Manifest”, created by Jeff Rake, and which stars Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas and Athena Karkanis. It has been airing since 2018, and follows the passengers of Flight 828 who were believed to be dead but who have now returned home five years after their plane mysteriously disappeared. The series has been nominated for four awards.
Early life, family and education
Luna was raised in Los Angeles an only child, by her Scottish father who’s originally from Glasgow, and her mother who was born in San Antonio, Texas.
She spent a lot of her spare time during her early years watching TV series and movies with her parents, and thus fell in love with acting. Her parents eventually decided to take her to an audition, and Luna got to appear in her first movie aged six, when she portrayed Victoria Santos in the short drama “Konflooent”, written by Kenneth Colom, directed by Raj Pathak, and which starred Kenneth Colom, Kelsey Wedeen an Ellie Gerber. It follows a Los Angeles Police Department homicide detective who’s trying to cope with his wife and their four years old daughter leaving him, and who thus turns to drinking.
In the following year, Luna played Chloe in the drama movie “Vicious Circle” which failed to attract a lot of attention, but still received mostly positive reviews.
She got to launch her modelling career in the early 2010s, and appeared in various commercials for brands and companies such as McDonalds, Target and Duncan Hines.
Upon matriculating from a local high school in 2019, Luna chose not to attend college but to focus on her acting career.

In 2013 aged 12, Luna was cast to play Loonz in the comedy “The Breakdown”, and in 2015 she played Nina Aged 13 in the biographical drama “Memoria”, written and directed by Vladimir de Fontenay and Nina Ljeti, and which starred Thomas Mann, James Franco and Sam Dillon.
It follows a boy living in Palo Alto, California, who’s dissatisfied with his friends, family and his love life. In 2016, she starred in the music video “Jacob Sartorius: Sweatshirt”, portraying the singer’s love interest, and in 2017 starred in her own music video “Luna Blaise: Over You”. The year 2018 saw her play Eileen in the short drama “Surviving Theater 9”, written and directed by Tim McGrath, and in which she starred alongside Corbin Bernsen and Autumn Browne.
Luna’s most recent movie role has been her portrayal of one of the lead characters in the 2018 family sports adventure “Concrete Kids”, written and directed by Lije Sarki, and which starred Christopher Romero, Myles Strampello and Jacob Messex. It follows two boys aged nine, who have embarked on a night journey trying to reach Los Angeles from Venice on their skateboards.

Luna has only appeared in two TV series including “Manifest”. Between 2015 and 2018, she played Nicole in 23 episodes of the critically acclaimed comedy “Fresh Off the Boat”, created by Nahnatchka Khan and which starred Randall Park, Hudson Yang and Constance Wu. The series aired from 2015 to 2020, and follows the life of a Taiwanese family in the US in the ‘90s; it won six of the 33 awards for which it was nominated.

In 2012, Luna made a guest appearance in the talk-show “E. W. C. – Express Written Consent”, and in 2015 she was invited to appear in the talk-show “Q N’ A with Mikki and Shay”.
