We all love A&E’s hit show “Storage Wars” for many good reasons. While the show always delivers top-tier entertainment and a fair amount of drama, its stars are just as unforgettable as the strange, rare objects often found inside the abandoned lockers featured in the show.

Out of all the show’s stars, Brandi Passante is one of the most popular. For the first thirteen seasons, she teamed with her then-husband Jarrod Schulz, with whom she also starred in a successful spin-off. Brandi’s popularity has only grown over time, regardless of her eventual separation from Schulz, and a couple of controversies she’s been caught up in in recent years.

So what is Brandi Passante doing now? Does she still appear in “Storage Wars”? What actually happened to her and Jarrod? Watch this video to find out!

What Is Brandi Passante Doing Now?

The last time we saw Brandi Passante on TV was in 2023, when the 15th season of “Storage Wars” aired. Though it’s unclear whether a new season is in the works or not, it was nice seeing Brandi and her fellow stars return to the show which gained them international fame throughout the 2010s. That said, the recent seasons of “Storage Wars” have seen Brandi teaming up with Ivy Calvin when it’s time to bid for abandoned lockers.

Regarding Brandi’s professional endeavors, she no longer owns an antique shop, and is instead focused on ‘cherry picking’ articles at auctions to sell afterwards, as she revealed in a 2021 interview with the podcast “Happening Now With Hammer”. She sporadically collaborates with said podcast and also allows requests for public appearances, as read in the bio of her highly followed Instagram account. On top of that, she’s involved with the California-based bar Our Place Lake Forest.

As seen on Brandi’s social media, she has quite a busy social life, and often attends events with her family or friends, definitely having fun while also letting us see that she’s the same determined, hard-working woman we’ve come to love and admire on TV.

Is Brandi Single?

Brandi Passante isn’t single, but it took her a long while to introduce her new partner to her followers. The first time everyone suspected that Brandi’s heart was taken was in February 2023, when she posted a video with a man whom her followers hadn’t seen before.

Fast forward a couple of months and posts later, the man, whose name is Clifford Beaver, shared a video celebrating her birthday with the caption ‘I love you so much’ and ‘(I’m) happy that we’ve found each other’, leaving no open questions about the nature of their relationship.

Very few things are known about Beaver, though. His Instagram account lets us see that he lives in California and owns Our Place Lake Forest, the same restaurant bar that Brandi has shown herself working in through her social media. It’s also known that Beaver is a father of two young adults, and frequents music events around California.

While it’s unclear how long Brandi and Clifford have been dating, from the outside it seems like a stable relationship. In a post celebrating Brandi’s birthday in 2024, Clifford affirmed he was ‘lucky’ for sharing ‘another year around the sun’ with her, while also thanking her for her unconditional love and support. Also in that post, Clifford revealed that Brandi ‘helped him’ at the bar, answering the great question about her connection with the business.

Why Did Brandi and Jarrod Break Up?

Everyone who watched the earliest seasons of “Storage Wars” knows that despite having a typical married-couple dynamic, Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz seemed a very stable couple. It was their interesting relationship which led A&E to premiere the spin-off “Married to the Job” in 2014, successfully bringing some light into the inner workings of the couple, their family, and their never-achieved goal of officially tying the knot.

However, the pair’s relationship ended right after wrapping-up filming of “Storage Wars” 12th season in 2018, but the reasons behind the split have never been revealed, despite the rumors which circulated about it.

While many fans of the couple might have sensed that something wasn’t quite right between the pair, because of their lack of social media posts together, the news wasn’t officially revealed until “Storage Wars” 13th season aired in April 2021, when Brandi admitted it in front of cameras. The pair’s separation also resulted in their professional split, leading Brandi and Jarrod to bid separately throughout the season while sometimes making snide comments about the other, or trying to outbid each other.

When asked about her relationship status in a podcast from early 2021, Brandi affirmed that she was single, and ‘going with the flow’ when it came to love. On his part, Jarrod has been dating a woman named Rochel Beckman since 2019.

Controversy and Aftermath

The revelation of Brandi Passante and Jarrod Schulz’s separation came as a big shock for many people, but nothing could have prepared them for the big scandal which unfolded not long after the news became known. As it happened, the pair had a confrontation in late April 2021, while in a bar in Orange County, California.

According to a TMZ report, Brandi was hanging out with friends before Jarrod showed up at the place, resulting in a heated argument between the pair which had Brandi telling her ex-partner to go away. Jarrod didn’t acquiesce to Brandi’s demands, allegedly pushing her twice as the discussion continued until she left the place. In the end, Jarrod was charged with domestic violence, but it’s unclear if he was ever taken into custody for it.

While not much is known about why Jarrod and Brandi had such a heated argument in a public space, their exchange was a far cry from the seemingly cordial relationship they portrayed in the show. That said, it was revealed that the incident led A&E to investigate the veracity of the allegations against Jarrod, and though the results were never revealed, he was nowhere to be seen when the 14th season premiered in late 2021.

Even though her separation from Jarrod and its subsequent scandal were surely difficult times for Brandi Passante, it’s also motivating and inspiring to see her moving forward these days, professionally and personally, as hopefully has Jarrod.
