Kyla Kenedy was born in Charleston, South Carolina USA, on 4 February 2003 – her zodiac sign is Aquarius, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress with close to 30 credits to her name, while she’s perhaps known best for her portrayal of Mika Samuels, in the horror thriller series “The Walking Dead”. Early life and education
Kyla was raised in Charleston by her parents, who prefer to be left out of the media’s attention, thus not a lot about them is known. She hasn’t spoken of having any siblings, and is thus believed to be an only child.
Kyla was somewhat thrown into the film industry, as her acting skills were noticed by her elementary school teacher, who advised her parents to take her to an audition. It was in 2011 aged eight, that her acting career was launched, with her portrayal of Fiona Chambliss, in the episode “Tell-Tale Hearts” of the mystery crime series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”.
The following year saw her make her debut film appearance, with her portrayal of Sarah Weiland at Age 3 in the thriller “The Yellow Wallpaper”, and she also played Balloon Girl in the family comedy movie “The Three Stooges”, and the title character in the family movie “Raising Izzie”.
Kyla attended a local high school and was interested in sports, as she ran track and was on the school’s volleyball team. She was focused on acting throughout her entire education – she’s matriculated just recently in 2021, and it doesn’t appear that Kyla will be pursuing a college degree, but is going to focus on her acting career.
Roles in TV series
In 2012, Kyla was cast to play the supporting character Rebecca, in three episodes of the romantic comedy “The New Normal”, which starred Justin Bartha, Andrew Rannells and Georgia King, and follows a woman who has agreed to be a surrogate mother for two gay men.
The series won four of the 12 awards for which it was nominated.
The following two years saw her appear in an episode of the comedy “Adam Devine”, and the mystery crime drama “Rizzoli & Isles”, then in 2015, Kyla voiced Witch Girl, in an episode of the animated family fantasy “Doc McStuffins”.
