Who is Morgan Kohan?

Morgan Kohan was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, on 14 May 1990 – her zodiac sign is Taurus and she holds Canadian nationality. She is an actress who might be known best for her portrayal of Lillian Walsh, the lead character in the romantic family series “When Hope Calls” created by Alfonso H. Moreno, and which has been airing since 2019. It also stars Jocelyn Hudon and Ryan-James Hatanaka, and follows the lives of orphan siblings Grace and Lillian, who reunite decades after being separated. The series has been nominated for five awards.

Early life and education

Morgan is one of the most secretive actresses out there, as she hasn’t shared a single detail concerning her parents and any siblings, as she believes it’s important to keep her private and business lives separated.

She became interested in dancing even before enrolling at elementary school, and her parents paid for a private teacher who proved that Morgan was indeed talented; she entered numerous competitions, winning many. It follows a man who’s lost his eyesight in war, and who was attracted to a woman who passed by him and was wearing an elegant and hypnotic perfume; after regaining his eyesight, the man goes on a search to find the woman. In the same year, Morgan starred in the short “I’m in Love with All My Friends”, while the following year saw her star as Alice in the short horror drama “Alice, Alone” written and directed by Sean Cammack, and which is about a young woman who is listening to her neighbors as their fight escalates into violence.

Morgan appeared in her first feature movie in 2018, entitled “The Black Widow Killer”. The film received mixed reviews, and failed to attract a lot of attention, then in 2019 she played Jade Williams in the fantasy horror “Demons Inside Me”, but which received poor reviews. Morgan’s latest three roles in movies have been in the drama “The Marijuana Conspiracy”, the romantic drama “Love on Harbor Island”, and the comedy “Kitty Mammas”, all released in 2020.

Morgan made her debut TV series appearance in 2015, when she portrayed Katie Gallagher in the pilot episode of the drama “Contingency”, but which failed to be picked up by any network.

The following years saw her appear in single episodes of various series, such as the drama “Dead Weight”, the mystery crime drama “Murdoch Mysteries”, and the comedy “Kim’s Convenience”. Morgan eventually gained recognition in 2018, when cast as Evie Beaumont in the action crime drama “Ransom”, which starred Luke Roberts, Brandon Jay McLaren and Naznee Contractor, and follows several crisis negotiators as they travel around the world to work for multi-national companies, helping them through complex negotiations. The same year also saw Morgan appear in the episode “Fragment” of the science fiction series “Blink Twice”.

Her two most recent roles in TV series have been in 2019, in single episodes of both drama “The Bold Type”, and the fantasy horror “Creeped Out”.

As of January 2021, Morgan is dating Drew Nelson, a Canadian actor from Etobicoke, Ontario. He was born on 11 August 1979 and attended Richview Collegiate Institute before moving on to Humber College from which he graduated in 2001. He has appeared in over 70 movies and TV series, while a couple of his most notable performances have been in the 2014 fantasy horror series “The Strain”, the 2016 science fiction mystery comedy series “People of the Earth”, and the 2017 drama series “The Girlfriend Experience”.
