Samuel Bryce ‘Sam’ Lerner was born in Los Angeles, California USA, on 27 September 1992 – his zodiac sign is Libra, and he holds American nationality. He’s an actor with over 40 credits to his name, perhaps known best for his portrayal of Geoff Schwartz in the comedy series “The Goldbergs”. It was created by Adam F. Goldberg, stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, Sean Giambrone and Troy Gentile, and follows members of the Goldberg family who are living in Jenkintown in Pennsylvania in the ‘80s. The series has been airing since 2013, and has won four of the 16 awards for which it has been nominated.

Early life, siblings, parents, and education

Sam was raised in Los Angeles alongside his sister Jenny, by their father Ken Lerner, a noted American actor, and their mother Patti (nee Klein), who’s a reporter. Sam’s uncle Michael C. Lerner is also a famous American actor, who was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, for his performance in the 1991 black comedy psychological thriller movie “Barton Fink”.

Having been raised in a family of actors, Sam himself became interested in acting at a very early age. He began practicing it upon enrolling at an elementary school and joining its drama club, and Sam was 10 years old when he made his debut TV series appearance, in the 2003 episode “Kicked Out” of the sitcom “Malcolm in the Middle”, thus launching his acting career.
