Matthew hasn’t appeared in “Alaskan Bush People” for years, however, it’s known that he lives in a town near his family. Living his solitary life in Loomis, a tiny town with only 100 residents, it isn’t hard for Matthew to keep his life away from the public eye. He enjoys hiking and camping and is proud of his sobriety.
Perhaps you didn’t know that back in 2018, Matthew was accused of raping two women, with the attacks allegedly taking place two days apart. The allegations surfaced after Matthew entered rehab for a second time, with both women claiming the “Alaskan Bush People” (now-former) star had been drinking heavily. The two women reported the crimes to the LAPD’s Tonga Division, and the case was turned over to the district attorneys, who declined to prosecute. Regardless, Matthew was fired from the family show, and will likely never be invited back.

The passing of Billy Brown on 7 February 2021, sent shockwaves through the “Alaskan Bush People” community and beyond.
