Cars by Constance is the place where Constance Nunes’ automotive dreams become a reality. Her business is located in Wildomar, California, and specializes in the customization and restoration of 1960s Ford Mustangs. According to her website, Constance’s experience wrenching cars extends to over 19 years, but she chose to focus on Mustangs because of her love for the brand and what it represents for her.
As Constance mentioned in an interview at the 2024 Twin Cities Auto Show, the favorite car she’s ever worked on is the Babystang, which is her 1964.5 Mustang she’s owned for almost two decades, and wrenched herself. Constance is quite proud of the Babystang and has exhibited it at several automotive events including the 2024 SEMA Show, where she talked about the technical and mechanical aspects of her build. She also remarked on the special attention she pays to details when customizing cars in her shop, and how that makes Babystang her most loyal friend on the road.
Constance uses her personal Instagram to promote her business, often sharing sneak peeks about her projects and events on it. On top of that, Cars by Constance also offers classic automotive trading services, making it quite an excellent business for such a dedicated car enthusiast as she is.
Modeling Career & More
While Constance Nunes’ main focus is on the automotive field, her modeling career has also seen a rise in recent years. As Constance revealed in a 2021 interview, she’s been modeling since the early 2010s, but thought that modeling for big brands was impossible, given her background as a mechanic and how that didn’t fit with the glamorous demands that modeling entailed.
However, following the “Car Masters: Rust to Riches” premiere in 2018, Constance was noticed by an executive involved with the fashion brand Guess. It didn’t take long for her to land a deal with the brand, so opening more opportunities for her in the modeling world.
Up until now, Constance has worked for Wrangler, Walmart, and Feral Cosmetics, among others. Her beauty also attracts eyes in the automotive world, so it isn’t unusual for her to land brand deals with companies in the industry and be a guest at important events.
