Where’s Enkh Erdene Now?
Following his elimination from “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” in early 2024, Enkh Erdene has seen his career soar. Not only did his Facebook and Instagram accounts gain thousands of followers very quickly after his audition and following performances became viral, but other professional doors opened for him as well.
As seen in his social media, Enkh has been performing in a wide variety of music events in his native country, on top of headlining a concert “Life Is Rich”, entitled after his album of the same name which was announced in April of that year. He also opened a TikTok account, but is still in the process of sharing more content there.
Enkh’s newly gained popularity online is attested by the hundreds of supportive comments found in English on his social media, making it evident that he did wonders to conquer people’s hearts, even if he can’t understand or speak much of the language in which he sings his songs. Surpassing those cultural barriers is probably the most impressive thing about Enkh’s rise to fame.
His Path In AGT
The first time we saw Enkh Erdene in “America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League” was in the first season’s third episode, as one of Heidi Klum’s choices during the Draft Pool, going ahead of Simon Cowell who also wanted to have Enkh in his team. As Heidi affirmed in the show, she chose Enkh both for his voice and the fact she liked winners, referencing his previous victory in “Mongolia’s Got Talent”.
With the help of a translator and a lot of dreams in his mind, Enkh went aboard Heidi’s plan to conquer American audiences’ hearts, with his low-tone voice, a live band, and a country music soul. The result left everyone impressed, as Enkh’s rendition of “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks was described as ‘’stunning’ by Simon.
Enkh’s audition gained him a place in the Semi-finals, where he sang “Always On My Mind” by Willie Nelson. That second performance was highly praised by the judges and audience, with Heidi giving Enkh a standing ovation.
Despite the applause about Enkh’s natural elegance and surprising voice, he didn’t gain enough votes to get into the show’s Finals. That didn’t matter much in the end though, as Enkh’s performances in the show had already done wonders in pushing his career forward in ways he hadn’t imagined.
His Beginnings
Most people don’t know much about Enkh Erdene’s background or personal story, except for the fact that he’s a “Mongolia’s Got Talent” winner. As Enkh confessed in his audition in the show in 2016, he was studying applied science in electric devices, which is similar to an electric engineering major. According to his Facebook profile, Enkh attended the Mongolian University of Science and Technology.
Despite his career aspirations, Enkh’s love for music constantly resurfaced. He sang and played guitar in his free time, though Enkh was slightly discouraged by his parents in following a career in the entertainment industry, given the difficulties it entailed in achieving success. By the time he auditioned for “Mongolia’s Got Talent”, Enkh’s parents were more supportive of his decision to become an entertainer, and find a ‘wonderful place where (he) could sing’, as he candidly admitted in the show.

The next time Enkh set foot in the show was during week four, when he performed Josh Turner’s classic “Your Man”, once again proving his ability to turn any country song his way, and get away with it.
