In 2014, he responded to Kevin Abstract’s post on the online forum for Kanye West fans, KanyeToThe, asking to recruit new members for his band, which is how he met his future Brockhampton band-mates Kevin Abstract, Ameer Vann, Joba, and Merlyn Wood.
Career as a member of Brockhampton
Brockhampton released their first single entitled “Bet I” in January 2015, and in March of the following year, their debut mixtape “All-American Trash”, which was available for free.
In June 2017, Brockhampton released their debut album “Saturation”, which included singles such as “Face”, “Heat” and “Gold”, which were all accompanied by videos that Kevin Abstract filmed in his Los Angeles neighborhood.

Ameer was subsequently excluded from the band, which made fans wonder how his absence would affect the rest of the group.
Despite the hurdles that they faced during this time, Brockhampton signed a $15 million deal with the RCA label, and were backed by promotion from mainstream artists such as A$AP Rocky. Their 2018 album “Irridescence” debuted in first spot on the Billboard 200 chart, which has been their biggest commercial success to date.
Brockhampton released two more albums, “Ginger” in 2019 and “Technical Difficulties” in 2020.
