Asia Monet Ray was born in Corona, California USA, on 10 August 2005 – her zodiac sign is Leo and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and a dancer, who’s probably known best from having competed in the reality dancing competition show “Dance Moms” between 2012 and 2014. The show stars Abby Lee Miller, Nia Sioux and Holly Frazier, has been airing since 2011, and follows mothers and their children who are being trained by skilled dance instructors to then competing against each other. It has won two of the eight awards for which it’s been nominated.
Early life, parents and education
Asia’s being raised in Corona alongside her sister Bella Blu, by their mother Kristie Ray who’s a reality TV star, and their father Shawn Ray who’s a bodybuilder, and could also have been seen appearing in several reality shows.
Asia became interested in dancing at a very early age – she was two years old when her mother enrolled her at a dancing school. Growing up, she became interested in ice skating and entered several competitions, while she’s today also interested in creating choreographies, and has said that she’d like to become a choreographer if she doesn’t succeed as a dancer or an actress.
Asia’s currently attending a local high school in Yorba Linda in California, and judging by the plans she has for her future, it doesn’t seem that she’ll be pursuing a college degree after (and if) she matriculates from her high school.
Career as an actress
Asia has five acting credits; she made her debut appearance in 2015 with her portrayal of Young Lexi in the romantic comedy movie “Sister Code”, written by four people and directed by Corey Grant, which starred Amber Rose, Eva Marcille and Drew Sidora. It follows the lives of three entirely different foster sisters after their mother dies.
In 2016, Asia played a youth singer in the episode “Hindsight, Part 3” of the action crime series “Major Crimes”, which aired from 2012 to 2018 and was quite popular, winning four of the seven awards for which it was nominated. In 2016, she played the supporting character Sydney Simpson in four episodes of the biographical crime series “American Crime Story”, created by Tom Rob Smith, Larry Karaszewski and Scott Alexander, and which stars Sarah Paulson, Sterling K. Brown and Annaleigh Ashford. It tells the story of various crimes and the criminals who committed them, and the series has won 97 awards including four Golden Globes, while it’s been nominated for 120 other awards.
Also in 2016, Asia played Jasmine in the episodes “There’s a Fine, Fine Line” and “It’s Alright, Ma (I’m Only Bleeding)” of the hit romantic drama series “Grey’s Anatomy”, which has won 80 awards including two Golden Globes, while being nominated for 232 other awards.
Her only other appearance has been in the 2020 short musical comedy film “Zombies 2: The Collab”, which has failed to attract any attention.
In 2011, Asia appeared in two episodes of the short talk-show “Alexis Joy VIP Access”, while the following year saw her appear in 10 episodes of the reality competition show “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition”, becoming the youngest competitor; she finished third.
The year 2013 saw her appear in two episodes of the short documentary talk-show “On the Spot Interviews”, and an episode of the talk-show “Teens Wanna Know”; in 2014, Asia was featured in the TV special “Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2014”, and gained recognition in the same year when she starred in her own biographical series – “Raising Asia” – and was then invited to make a guest appearance in an episode or two of the reality game-show “Hell’s Kitchen”, the news show “Fashion News Live”, and the talk-show “Q N’ A with Mikki and Shay”.

Asia’s highly secretive when it comes to her love life, and hasn’t spoken of any boys (or girls) whom she has perhaps dated, while there are rumors circulating the internet that the actress is today in a relationship with a mysterious boy.
According to some of her fans, Asia has been spotted on several occasions spending time and holding hands with a boy who could perhaps be her boyfriend. It’s said that they met when she enrolled at high school, and that they’ve since been dating, however, no evidence has been provided to support these claims, nor has Asia commented on them.
There are some who believe her to be a lesbian because she spends the majority of her spare time with her female friends, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.

Asia enjoys being active on her Instagram account, while it’s allegedly being monitored by her mother. She has amassed over 1.6 million followers, and has uploaded close to 1,000 pictures, most of which have her breasts in focus.
She’s an animal lover, with horses being her favorites.
Asia’s favorite season is summer, as she’s keen on sun tanning at the beach, playing beach volleyball and spending time on her friends’ yachts.
Her favorite cuisine is Italian, as she loves to eat pasta and pizza.
Asia likes to travel, and her career has already taken her to several US states, while she’s hoping to be able to visit Paris in France soon.
