Age, Early Life, and Education Background
William Gregory Magnussen was born in New York City, USA, under the Aries zodiac sign on 20 April 1985, which makes him 38-years-old as of 2023 – he’s the son of Greg Magnussen, a professional bodybuilder and kickboxer, and Daina Magnussen, an aerobics instructor. Billy starred as Ray in the comedy-drama “Happy Tears” in 2009, then in 2010 landed the role of the muscular drug dealer, Claude Kenton, in Joel Schumacher’s teen crime drama “Twelve,” which was based on the 2002 eponymous novel by Nick McDonnell. He revealed during a previous interview that he had to hit the gym daily before the shooting of the film, to portray his character perfectly.
Thereafter, Billy starred in the drama “Surviving Family” in 2012, and the musical fantasy “Into the Woods” in 2014. In 2015, he was cast with the likes of Christian Bale, Brad Pitt and Ryan Gosling, in the Adam McKay-directed crime drama “The Big Short”, a commercial and critical success which grossed over $133 million at the box office.

Billy was previously dating the American singer and actress, Meghann Fahy, who is known for her appearances in the Freeform drama TV series “The Bold Type”, and the ABC soap opera “One Life to Live.” The pair first met during the shooting of the Hallmark Hall of Fame drama movie “The Lost Valentine” in 2011 and became good friends., but didn’t start dating until six years later in 2017, and appeared in many red-carpet events together. They even collaborated on a few projects, including “The Bold Type” in 2018, but the two broke up in 2020, shortly after making an appearance side by side at a Golden Globes afterparty.
