Chris Lowell is an American actor who achieved fame with the role of William ‘Dell’ Parker in the TV series “Private Practice” (2007-2010), and most recently as Bash Howard in the TV series “GLOW” (2017-2019), in addition to many other roles that he has secured so far in his career.
Early Life, Parents, and Education
Christopher Russell Lowell was born under the Libra zodiac sign on 17 October 1984, in Atlanta, Georgia USA, the oldest in a family of five siblings – he has twin sisters, a younger sister, and a younger brother. His father is David Lowell, but he hasn’t talked about his mother.
He went to Atlanta’s prominent Atlanta International School (AIS), after which he enrolled at the University of Southern California, and also attended the New School. During his time at AIS, Chris founded the Film Program and Video Yearbook.

In 2007, Chris was selected for one of his most prominent roles, as William ‘Dell’ Parker in the medical drama series “Private Practice” (2007-2010), appearing in 54 episodes of the award-winning series.
Then in 2009 he portrayed Kevin in the romantic comedy-drama film “Up in the Air”, starring George Clooney, Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick. Chris won the role of Bash Howard in the Primetime Emmy Award-winning TV comedy-drama series “GLOW”, with Alison Brie, Marc Maron and Betty Gilpin as the main stars of the series, featuring in all but four episodes, which made him quite popular.
He continued in recent years with the role of Al Monroe in the thriller crime-drama film “Promising Young Woman”, starring Carey Mulligan, Bo Burnham and Alison Brie, followed as Steve in the comedy crime-drama film “Breaking News in Yuba County”, with Allison Janney, Mila Kunis and Regina Hall in the lead roles.
He is currently working on the horror film “My Best Friend’s Exorcism”, in which he will star with Elsie Fisher and Amiah Miller. Also, he is working on the spin-off from the “How I Met Your Mother” series, entitled “How I Met Your Father”, set to star with Hillary Duff.
