Who is Jadah Marie?

Jadah Marie Johnson was born in Fontana, California USA, on 2 June 2005 – her zodiac sign is Gemini, and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and a social media star, who’s probably known best for her portrayal of Elementary Kid in the 2018 action adventure science fiction movie “Ready Player One”, written by Zak Penn and Ernest Cline, directed by Steven Spielberg, and which starred Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke and Ben Mendelsohn. It’s a story about the virtual reality world called OASIS; it’s creator has died, and left an Easter Egg in the world which, when found, will give the finder ownership over the multi-million dollar business. The movie was a hit, winning 11 of the 67 awards for which it was nominated, including an Oscar nomination.

Early life and education

Jadah was raised in Fontana alongside her eight older siblings, by their African-American father Christian Redd who’s an actor and a comedian, and their mother Chiresse Ferguson. She has two identical twin brothers Amari and Amir O’Neil, who have also become actors.

Jadah grew up being interested in various activities, and was three years old when she took on cheering and gymnastics. Aged four, she won three national titles as a cheer flyer, and she also entered several gymnastics competition, without winning any awards.

Jadah made her debut TV series appearance in 2016, when cast to play Ashley Reed in the episode “Personal Business” of the critically acclaimed mystery crime drama “Blue Bloods”.

It was created by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, has been airing since 2010, and stars Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes and Bridget Moynahan. The series follows a family of police officers living in New York, and has won four of the 20 awards for which it has been nominated, including a Primetime Emmy nomination.

Jadah’s currently attending a local high school, and hasn’t yet spoken about whether or not she’s planning to pursue a college degree upon matriculating.

Career as an actress

Jadah has been credited with appearing in nine movies and TV series, including an upcoming movie, and an upcoming series.

Following her appearance in “Blue Bloods”, she was cast to play Natasha ‘Tasha’ Mann in the comedy series “Mann and Wife”, which starred David Mann Tamela J. Mann and Tony Rock.

It follows the lives of two families, who have now blended together, and have to live under the same roof. In 2019, Jadah portrayed Celia in the hit action adventure movie “Descendants 3” written by Josann McGibbon, directed by Kenny Ortega, and which starred Dove Cameron, Cameron Boyce and Sofia Carson. The movie follows the children of Disney’s villains, who have gathered on the Isle of the Lost to recruit new villains; it won one of the two awards for which it was nominated. In the same year, Jadah appeared in the short film “Descendants 3: Good to Be Bad”, as well as in another short film “Sarah Jeffery & Jadah Marie: Audrey’s Christmas Rewind”.

Most recently in 2020, Jadah portrayed Flynn in the family fantasy comedy series “Julie and the Phantoms”, created by Dan Cross and David Hoge, and which starred Charlie Gillespie, Madison Reyes and Owen Joyner.

It follows Julie who’s passionate about music, and is being trained by a band of teenage boys called The Phantoms, who have been dead for over two decades.

She’s currently shooting for the science fiction series “Home Invasion”, and the short drama movie “No Safe Place”.

Singing credits

Jadah has been credited with singing the song “I Got the Music” in five TV series in 2020. She sang it in the episode “I Got the Music” of the series “Julie and the Phantoms”, two episodes of the documentary “Julie and the Phantoms BTS” and the episode “Stories from Set” of the documentary “Behind the Band”. She also sang it in the episode “Top 10 Behind-the-Scenes Facts About Julie and the Phantoms” of the series “MsMojo”.

In 2017, Jadah made a guest appearance in the talk-show “Mack Chat”, and was in 2019 featured in the TV specials “Descendants 3: Fashion Night” and “Holidays Unwrapped: A Disney Channel Music Event”. The year 2020 saw her make an appearance in the short video “Various Artists: We Own the Night/Night Falls Mashup”.

In 2020 as well, Jadah starred in the documentary series “Julie and the Phantoms BTS”, and she then made a guest appearance in the episode “Stories from Set” of the documentary series “Behind the Band”. She has also made a guest appearance in an episode of the talk-show “CFF Talks TV SERIES”.

Love life and relationships

Jadah’s very secretive when it comes to her love life, and hasn’t spoken of any boys (or girls) whom she has perhaps dated. Many people believe her to be too young to be dating, however, there are rumors circulating the internet that the popular actress could today be in a relationship.

Some of Jadah’s fans have claimed to have seen her spending time and holding hands with a boy who’s very likely to be her boyfriend, however, no evidence has been provided to support these rumors, nor has Jadah commented on them. There are also some who believe that she’s bisexual, because she’s apparently a supporter of the LGBT community, but this hasn’t been confirmed either.

As of May 2021, Jadah seems to be single.

Hobbies and other interests

Jadah’s interested in filmmaking, and has apparently began working on her own short film, which should be released sometime in early 2022.

She’s a fashionista, as she’s trying to keep up with all the latest fashion trends, so is something of a shopaholic, as she goes shopping for clothes multiple times every week.

Jadah likes summer, because she enjoys being at the beach with her friends, sun tanning and playing beach sports.

She has become keen on travelling, and her acting career has already taken her to a couple of US states, and Jadah’s hoping that she’ll be able to travel to Europe soon.

In her spare time which is usually late at night, she likes to watch movies starring her favorite actor and actress Eddie Redmayne and Julia Roberts, such as “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”, “Les Miserables” and “Notting Hill”.
