Samantha was raised in Doylestown alongside her four older sisters, by their mother Theresa Hoopes and their father Robert Hoopes, however, nothing about her family is known, as they all prefer to be left out of the media’s attention.
Samantha studied at Central Bucks East High School at which she was physically active, as she played various sports as well as being a cheerleader. When she was around 15 years old, Samantha began attending the Barbizon Chique modelling school.
Upon matriculating in 2009, she enrolled at Penn State University wanting to pursue a degree in kinesiology, however, she eventually changed her mind and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s degree in business.
Samantha then moved to Hollywood in Los Angeles, California, having decided to focus on modelling and acting.

In 2014, Samantha posed nude for the magazine “Sports Illustrated’s 50th Anniversary Swimsuit Issue”, which made her a popular model in the US, and she was then invited to pose for various popular brands such as Levi’s Jeans and Guess.
She was also featured in the “Maxim Magazine” in June 2014, and ranked 18 on their list ‘100 Hottest’.

Career as an actress
Samantha has three acting credits. In 2015, she played a supporting character in the comedy movie “American Girl Dolls: The Action Movie with Anna Chlumsky”, written by Lindsay Kerns, directed by Elise Holowicki, and which starred Anna Chlumsky, Amber Stevens West and Esther Povitsky. It follows the lives of several American Girl dolls, but the film attracted little attention and received mixed reviews.
2017 saw Samantha play Kathy in the hit comedy movie “Sandy Wexler”, written by Dan Bulla and Paul Sado, directed by Steven Brill and which starred Adam Sandler, Jennifer Hudson and Kevin James. It follows a talent manager who’s working in Los Angeles in the ‘90s, with his clients who are mostly eccentric people involved in show business. The film won one of the three awards for which it was nominated.
Later in 2017, Samantha was featured as a model in the short video “Beach Bunny 2018 Swim”, which starred Fiona Briseno, Joy Corrigan and Tika Camara.
In 2014, she was featured in the documentary movie “Sports Illustrated: The Making of SI’s Swimsuit 2014: From Sand to Space”, while the following year saw her appear in the TV special “2015 NHL Awards”.
In 2016, Samantha was one of the stars of the short film “HOT Swimsuit Models in the Maldives” which also starred the models Candice Boucher, Jessica Buchanan and Xenia Deli, and the same year saw her featured in the documentary TV special “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2016 Revealed”.
She was then invited to compete in an episode of the reality game-show “Celebrity Family Feud”, and could’ve been seen making a guest appearance in the news talk-show “The Factor”. Still in 2016, Samantha was invited to appear in the short talk-show “The Domenick Nati Show”, which has been airing since then, and has received mostly positive reviews.
In 2017, she was made a team captain in an episode of the reality comedy series “Wild ‘N Out”, created by Nick Cannon, who also stars in it alongside DJ D-Wrek and Chico Bean. It follows two teams of improvisational comedians competing against each other and has been airing since 2005, and been nominated for three awards. In 2017 as well, Samantha was featured in the TV special “I Stand with My Pack: A Night of Compassion”.

Samantha’s highly secretive when it comes to her love life, and hasn’t spoken about any men whom she has perhaps been, with the exception of her fiancé Salvatore Palella; the two met sometime in the mid-2010s, but haven’t disclosed how and when. It was announced in July 2018 that Salvatore had asked Samantha to marry him, but the two still haven’t exchanged vows, although some people believe that they have perhaps married in secret, but this hasn’t been confirmed. In April 2019 it was announced that Samantha was pregnant, and in August she gave birth to their son George William Palella.

Salvatore Palella was born in Acireale, Sicily, Italy, on 29 September 1987 – his zodiac sign is Libra and he holds both Italian and American nationality. He’s a technology entrepreneur and a business executive, who’s probably known best for being the founder of the intra-urban transportation company Helbiz.
He was raised in Sicily, and was 17 years old when he matriculated from a local high school and then moved to Dublin, Ohio USA. Salvatore began working at McDonald’s, but soon returned to Italy to attend the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. However, he dropped out after founding his first company, Witamine which worked with vending machines serving squeezed orange juice.
The following years saw him become the owner of the professional soccer team Associazione Sportiva Dilettantistica Città di Acireale 1946, and in 2012 and 2013, he was the president of Acireale Calcio.
In 2016, Salvatore launched his company Helbiz in New York City, and then in October 2018 launched it in Italy as well, providing first shared electric scooter service.
