Jennifer Syme lost her life in a car accident that occurred on 2 April 2001 at Cahuenga Boulevard in Los Angeles. That night she attended a party organized by Marylyn Manson, and was driven home by her friend.

After a while, she decided to return to the party, started her 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and slammed into parked cars on Cahuenga Boulevard. She was ejected from the car, and quickly succumbed to her injuries – she was aged 28.

The investigation showed that she didn’t wear a seatbelt and was drugged at the time of the accident. In April of the following year, her mother filed a lawsuit against Manson, accusing him of supplying Jennifer with drugs and encouraging her to drive while intoxicated, however, he denied the charges.
