Kathrine was raised alongside her sisters Carol and Rhonda Narducci in Italian Harlem in New York City, by their mother who was a housewife, and their father Nicky Narducci who was the owner of his own bar, and a member of the Mafia – he was murdered in front of his bar in 1975.

Kathrine attended a local high school, and during her four years there dreamed about becoming a famous model. She was interested in sports and practiced tennis, and upon matriculating in 1983, Kathrine began working to financially support herself and her family.

Kathrine worked various jobs for 10 years, before she took her son who was nine at the time to an audition for a role in the 1993 crime drama movie “A Bronx Tale”.
