Cinthya Carmona was born in Venezuela, on 27 December 1990 – her zodiac sign is Capricorn and she holds both Venezuelan and American nationality. She’s an actress and a dancer, who’s probably known best for her portrayal of one of the lead characters, Alexis in the 2020 action crime movie “The Tax Collector”, written and directed by David Ayer, and which also starred Bobby Soto and Shia LaBeouf. It follows the life of a man working for a local drug lord when his boss’ rival comes to Los Angeles, California and threatens to kill his family. For his performance, Shia was nominated for a Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actor.

Early life and education
Cinthya was raised in Los Angeles, as her family migrated there not long after she was born. Nothing about her parents is known as she respects their privacy, and as she hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, Cinthya’s believed to be an only child.
She became interested in acting while attending a local high school, and began appearing in school plays, while also practicing her acting skills at the Speiser Sturges Action Studio. Upon matriculating in 2009, she made her debut TV series appearance in the comedy “El Vacilon”, created by Agustin who also starred in it alongside Steven Bauer and Vico C. The series won a 2010 National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences – Suncoast Chapter Emmy Award for Best Writer – Program.
Cinthya then chose to study acting at a college in New York City, from which she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in 2012. She appeared in various plays performed at the Theater Main Street Playhouse during her time at college including “Barefoot in the Park” and “The Glass Menagerie”.

Cynthia made her debut film appearance in 2012 with her portrayal of Sloane Peterson in the short adventure comedy “Super 35”, while the same year also saw her play The Fan in the short music film “Success Driven”.
In 2013, she was cast to play Ashley in her first feature film – the action crime drama “Ambushed” – then in 2015, Cinthya played the supporting character Angela Flores in the crime thriller “Badge of Honor” written by six people, directed by Agustin, and which starred Mena Suvari, Martin Sheen and Lochlyn Munro.
It follows two detectives who are investigating the death of an unarmed teenager shot during a drug bust. A couple of Cynthia’s following roles were in the short drama “Randy Doe”, the short comedy “Private Space” both in 2015, and the 2019 thriller “Skin in the Game”. In 2012, Cynthia played Lupe in the episode “All In” of the action crime drama “True Justice”, and in 2015 she was cast as Female Attendant in the episode “Three Moves Ahead” of the critically acclaimed crime drama “Power”, created by Courtney A. Kemp, and which starred Lela Loren, Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton. The series aired from 2014 to 2020, and follows the life of a night club owner from New York, winning 14 of the 40 awards for which it was nominated.
The year 2016 saw her make a guest appearance in the episode “Welcome Back, Carter” of the action crime comedy “Rush Hour”, while she also portrayed the supporting character Brandie in 13 episodes of the drama “East Los High”.
Cinthya gained recognition in 2017 when she was cast to play Sophie Cardona, one of the main characters in the drama “Greenhouse Academy” created by Giora Chamizer, and which also starred Ariel Mortman and Finn Roberts.
