Chandler Kinney was born in Sacramento, California USA, on 3 August 2000 – her zodiac sign is Leo and she holds American nationality. She’s an actress and a professional dancer, who’s probably known best for her portrayal of Catherine Dillman, a supporting character in the family fantasy adventure series “Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street”, created by David Anaxagoras and which starred Sloane Morgan Siegel, Ashley Boettcher and Drew Justice. It aired from 2014 to 2016, and followed the lives of Gortimer and his two friends Mel and Ranger; and the series won nine of the 23 awards for which it was nominated.

Early life, parents and education
Chandler’s family moved to Los Angeles, California when she was one, and she was raised alongside her two brothers by their mother Taryn, and their father who prefers to be left out of the media’s attention.
She was three years old when her mother enrolled her at dancing school, and in 2010 aged 10, Chandler began practicing martial arts – she was 13 when she was awarded her black belt. She became interested in acting around the same time, and in 2012 made her debut movie appearance with her portrayal of Chantel in the musical movie “Battlefield America”, written and directed by Chris Stokes, and which starred Marques Houston, Mekia Cox and Christopher Jones.
It follows a young businessman who has to work with a group of misfit children as a community service sentence, and has to get them ready for a dance competition. The movie received poor reviews, but Chandler was still praised for her performance.
She studied at a local high school, and upon matriculating in 2018, Chandler announced that she was accepted at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Roles in TV series
She has been credited with appearing in 14 movies and TV series, including the two mentioned above.
In 2013, Chandler made her debut TV series appearance with her portrayal of Older Julia in the episode “Madness Ends” of the horror thriller “American Horror Story”, which has been airing since 2011, and is very popular as it’s won 125 awards including two Golden Globes, and has been nominated for 387 other awards. The same year also saw her appear as Olivia in the episode “You Can’t Win ‘em All” of the romantic comedy “90210”.
Chandler gained recognition in 2014 when cast to play Mirabelle in six episodes of the family fantasy comedy “The Haunted Hathaways”, written by Robert Peacock, and which starred Chico Benymon, Ginifer King and Amber Frank.
It follows a family who have moved from New York to New Orleans into a house which is inhabited by a family of ghosts. The series aired from 2013 to 2015 and won three of the 11 awards for which it was nominated. In 2015, Chandler appeared as Vanessa in the episode “Girl Meets Texas: Part 2” of the critically acclaimed family comedy “Girl Meets World”, and in 2017 she played Monique in the episodes “Teen Drama” and “The Storm Maker” of the action comedy “K. C. Undercover”.
Two of her most recent TV series roles have been her portrayal of Riana Murtaugh in 30 episodes of the action crime comedy “Lethal Weapon” between 2016 and 2019, and her portrayal of Willa in the 2020 comedy “Zombies 2: Wolf Tales”.

In 2013, Chandler played Ally McKinley in the drama “Company Town”, but which failed to attract any attention, and her following film role only came seven years later, when cast to play Willa in the romantic musical comedy “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2”, written by four people, directed by Paul Hoen and which starred Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly and Trevor Tordjman. It follows the lives of high school students Zed and Addison who have just encountered werewolves; it won one of the two awards for which it was nominated.
Chandler’s only three other roles in movies have been in the 2020 short music video “Milo Manheim: We Own the Summer”, and the 2021 short music videos “Joshua Bassett: Only a Matter of Time” and “Joshua Bassett: Telling Myself”.
Writing and producing credits
Chandler has one writing and two producing credits. In 2019, she produced the short drama film “Unseen”, and the year 2020 saw her write and produce the comedy mini-series “Across the Pond”.
She appeared in a 2017 episode of the documentary series “Teens Wanna Know”, and has been featured in a couple of TV specials, including “Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2014” and “Disney Channel Halloween House Party”.

According to these rumors, she’s still not ready to come out of the closet, believing this could affect her career in a negative way, however, this hasn’t been confirmed nor has Chandler commented on this.
Some of her fans also believe that she was once in a relationship with Pearce Joza, an American actor alongside whom she appeared in the movie “Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 2”, while he’s probably known best for his portrayal of Spyder Johnson in the action adventure comedy series “Mech-X4”. If the rumors are to be believed, they were together for just a couple of months in 2020 before splitting for unknown reasons.
As of May 2021, Chandler appears to be single, hasn’t married and doesn’t have children.
Hobbies and other interests
Chandler’s favorite season appears to be winter, as she likes snow and enjoys building a snowman with her family, and also Christmas, including gifts and Christmas sweaters.
Chandler has recently become interested in politics, as she was displeased with how the former President of the USA Donald Trump was leading the country. She voted in the 2020 presidential election, and used her Instagram popularity to urge others to vote as well.
Chandler has already become passionate about travelling, and her acting career has taken her to a couple of US states.
She has her own favorite actors and actresses, some of whom are the late Chadwick Boseman, Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, and a couple of her favorite movies are “Black Panther”, “The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “Titanic”.
