Kim Yoojung Wiki Bio
Kim Yoo-jung, also written Kim Yoo-Jeong, was born in Seoul, South Korea, on 22 September 1999 – her zodiac sign is Virgo and she holds South Korean nationality. She’s an actress with around 35 credits to her name, while she’s probably known best for her portrayal of the lead character Hong Ra-on in the 2016 romantic comedy series “Gooreumi Geuri Dalbit”, which also starred Park Bo-Gum and Chae Soo-bin, and follows the relationship between a prince and his eunuch. The series won 17 of the 24 awards for which it was nominated.
Early life, family and education
Kim was raised in Seoul alongside her two older siblings by their parents Mok Seon-mi and Kim Sang-pae, who prefer to be left out of media. Her sister Yeon-jung launched her acting career in 2017 aged 21.
Kim became interested in acting when she was around four years old, and her parents showed support by taking her to various auditions for roles in both movies and TV series. In 2005, she launched her career with her portrayal of Jae-kyung in the crime thriller movie “Lady Vengeance”, which was a big hit winning 12 of the 25 awards for which it was nominated.
In the same year, Kim played Jin-ah in the drama “My Lovely Week”, and in 2006 played supporting characters in both the horror “Four Horror Tales – Hidden Floor” and the romantic drama “Lump of Sugar”.

In 2007, she was cast to appear in three movies: the biographical historical drama “Hwang Jin Yi”, the crime comedy “Bank Attack”, and the mystery crime thriller “Rainbow Eyes”.
Kim gained recognition in 2008 with her portrayal of Eun-ji in the hit action crime thriller “The Chaser” (original “Chugyeokja”), which starred Kim Yoon-Seok, Jung-woo Ha and Yeong-hie Seo, and follows the life of a former police officer who’s now running a small ring of prostitutes; the film won 27 of the 52 awards for which it was nominated. The following year saw Kim appear in the mystery horror thriller “Possessed”, and in 2013 she starred alongside Seung-Hyun Choi and Yeri Han in the action drama “Commitment”. In 2014, Kim played one of the lead characters, Hwa-yeon in the drama “Thread of Lies”, while the following year saw her star as Wei in the short horror mystery “Room 731”.

The other three awards she has won were a 2016 APAN Star Award for Best New Actress, a 2016 Asia Artist Television/Film Award for Best Icon and a 2017 Baek Sang Art Award for Most Popular Actress, all for her performance in “Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit”.
Love life and boyfriend
Kim hasn’t spoken about any boys whom she has perhaps dated, but there are rumors circulating the internet linking her to two men, however, none of these rumors have been confirmed.
In 2016 after she was done shooting for the series “Gooreumi Geurin Dalbit”, many of Kim’s fans began claiming that she was in a relationship with her co-star Park Bo-gum, while some even claimed that they had seen the two spending time together on various occasions. Neither Kim nor Park addressed these rumors.
In October 2020, rumors began spreading around the internet claiming that Kim was in a relationship with V, who’s a member of the South Korean boy band BTS (Bangtan Boys).
They have apparently also been spotted spending time together by their fans, however, it’s widely known that South Korean film and music stars aren’t allowed to date by their agencies, which is perhaps the reason why neither Kim nor V have addressed these rumors.
As of April 2021, Kim appears to be single, hasn’t married and has no children.

Kim’s somewhat addicted to her Instagram account, as she loves the attention she’s receiving from her fans. She’s followed by over 4.6 million people, and has uploaded close to 80 pictures, most of which have been taken during her everyday life.

Kim’s keen on travelling, and has been to various US states thanks to her acting career, and also to a couple of European countries, including France and Italy.
