Mikey grew up being interested in acting, as she watched at least one movie a day with her father. She became a huge fan of the film directors Quentin Tarantino and Martin Scorsese, and watched nearly every movie directed by Woody Allen. Mikey became a horseback rider at the age of eight, and soon began entering various tournaments. She was about to complete her elementary school education when her sister married a film writer, and after hearing him talk about movies, Mikey decided to leave her dreams of becoming a professional horseback rider behind her, and to focus on acting.

Mikey has appeared in 11 movies and two TV series. She made her debut film appearance in 2013, with her portrayal of Daughter, in the short drama “Retirement”, and the same year saw her star as Pani, in the short drama “Pani’s Box”. Mikey then starred in another short movie, the 2014 romantic drama “Bound for Greatness”, and her debut feature film appearance was in 2015, when she portrayed the main character Liza, in the drama “Liza Liza: Skies Are Grey”. It was written and directed by Terry Sanders, also starred Madison Iseman and Kristin Minter, and follows a young couple who have embarked on a motorcycle trip in the ‘60s.
