Simon Christopher Konecki was born in the USA on 17 April 1974 – his zodiac sign is Aries and he holds both British and American nationality. He’s a businessman and a philanthropist, but who’s probably only known for being the ex-husband of famous British singer-songwriter Adele.
Early life and education
Simon spent the first ten years of his life in New York, where he was raised by his parents who prefer to be left out of media, thus nothing about them is known. As he hasn’t mentioned having any siblings, Simon’s believed to be an only child.
In 1984, he moved to London, England with his family and there attended the boys Eton College. Simon became interested in making money and becoming a businessman in his mid-teenage years, and was around 15 years old when he met Lucas White who would later become his business partner.
He matriculated in 1992, and while Simon hasn’t spoken about his further education, it’s widely believed that he attended a college from which he obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1996.
Career as a businessman
Simon launched his career aged 17 when he became a foreign exchange broker, and he worked at several companies for the following seven years, before he joined Lehman Brothers leading a team of senior brokers. In 2001 aged 27, Simon decided he would leave Lehman Brothers, thinking that his skills could help make the world a better place.
Simon arranged a meeting with Lucas White, and explained to him his idea of Life Water. The two men founded the charity organization Drop4Drop, started gathering money, and then began helping provide people in third world countries with water.
The organization’s today supported by many celebrities, including British actor Sid Owen, and British actor and comedian Stephen Fry.
Love life and daughter
In the early 2000s, Simon met Clary Fisher who was working as a fashion stylist. The two haven’t spoken about how and when they met, but in 2004 they exchanged vows in a private ceremony attended by their closest friends and family members. Clary gave birth to their daughter in 2007, but in 2008, she and Simon divorced for unknown reasons.
Simon began dating Adele sometime in 2011, while this was only revealed in January 2012 when the two were seen vacationing together in Florida. They spent time at the Everglades National Park, and later boarded an alligator-spotting airboat.
On 19 October 2012, Adele gave birth to their son Angelo James Konecki, and in 2017 during her acceptance speech after having won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year, Adele admitted that she and Simon had wed in secret. It was then reported in April 2019 that the two had split; she filed for divorce on 13 September 2019, finalized on 4 March 2021.

She’s a singer-songwriter who has won numerous awards and accolades, including nine Brit Awards and 15 Grammys.
She was raised in London by her mother Penny Adkins, as her father Marc Evans abandoned the family when Adele was two years old. She was four when she started singing, and aged nine, Adele and her mother moved to Brighton when Penny was offered work as a furniture maker and an activities organizer at an adult-learning company. After Adele turned 11, she and Penny returned to London, and in 2002, she enrolled at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology, from which she matriculated in May 2006.
Her career was launched in the same year when she was signed to XL Recordings while she chose Jonathan Dickens to be her manager.
Her debut album “19” came out on 28 January 2008 and topped the British charts, while her single “Chasing Pavements” ranked #2 on the UK Chart, and stayed there for around a month. She signed a contract with Columbia Records in March 2008, and the same month saw her embark on a tour around North America.

It was reported in 2018 that Adele was working on her fourth album, and on 15 February 2020, she announced that it would be released in September, however, the album’s release has been postponed because of the outbreak of the coronavirus.
Adele has spoken on a number of occasions about her struggles with panic attacks, anxiety and the postpartum depression which she experienced after having given birth to her and Simon’s son.
She supports the Labour Party, is a feminist, and also supports the LGBT community.
